Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

This is me playing in the Champion of Champions Competition at the wonderful Rockliffe Hall Golf course. OK it’s not Sky Sports filming, it’s just an iphone but ‘every journey starts with the first step’ as they say. Stop by my blog www.jacksonkneeshaw.com and say hi.

p.s. have you heard the new Cee Lo Green track – F@*K You   –  it is brilliant!!! 5***** magic, a hole in one.

Jackson Kneeshaw Golf Swing with Dennis Pugh

Hi, This is me showing off the latest swing. After my first year spent at ‘The Golf College’ with Dennis Pugh, I feel ready to see my scores fall. A First place at the Houghton-le-Spring Junior Open with a 71 followed by a First place best gross at the Brancpeth Junioe Open with a 68 and a win at Rockliffe Park at the weekend with a level par 72 show that the swing is starting to pay dividends.

P.S. if you are wondering who the guy in the Middlesbrough kit behind me is – that’s my younger brother Wilson who signed for the Boro at the start of this season. Good Luck to him.

Nebuloni shoes for a new term

Back to full time golf practice. My new Nebuloni shoes are on there way from Italy – My Scotty Cameron putter is on fire – the Ping i15 Driver is finally under control. I just need some decent weather to get rounds under my belt and I am confident my scores will tumble.

Tiger Woods is making an appearance soon – it will interesting watching how he copes with the media. A few lessons to be learnt there.

Anyway today is the start of a new era in my golfing career, the old plato is history and I’m jumping to the next one.

Spain!!

As you may, or may not know i have recently been on a months trip over to the North of Spain, near Barcelona, I went to beat the bad weather in England and get out for a months golf with my college. I will be posting a diary very soon of the trips events and what happened everyday.

Is Tiger Woods taking up my offer?

The same week I challenge Tiger Woods to a golf match to get him back in the  game and ‘hey presto’ he’s back. Still waiting to hear the venue but where ever it is, I am ready. The Ping i15 is finally splitting every fairway and a 375yd drive this week has convinced me it was worth the endeavor and persistence to make it work. Today I am preparing for a four day competition starting tomorrow, and struggling to stay focused after a day spent in a very distracting and beautiful Barcelona yesterday. This is definately  NOT the last time I will be enjoying the sights of Barcelona. I will be back! Anyway Tiger is back and all is well in the world of golf. Is he timing this to inflict maximum damage to the Axcentua – you bet your life he is – I wonder if those moralistic sponsors private lives would stand up to similar scrutiny,’Let he who is without sin cast the first stone and all that jazz’ If the other golfers think they are playing mind games with Tiger to gain much needed advantage then I lay ‘pound to a penny’ Tiger will win those games as well. He has probably strengthened his psychology system – Malcolm Gladwell’s sensational ‘Outliers’ book explains why Tiger is a sporting phenomenon among great golfers. “There are a lot of us who can play golf Tiger – would you care to try your belief system against mine”. Until we meet on the course.

Matchplay OOM 2/12/09

Today there was a matchplay order of merit, which I was paired up with post graduate Charlie Guest. Who plays off a handicap of 3 (i think). I was A/S after nine hole and about to play the 10th when the game got called off due to horendous weather. Which was a little unfortunate because we werent playing badly.

Today

Today was a rather ordinary day with golf lessons in the morning and academics in the afternoon. Golf was promising with more swing thoughts and I was told that my swing is building up to be something really good. In the afternoon I went out to play golf because we had a free period, and i was spectating whilse Chris Olney and Jordan Holdway Battled it out over 9 holes, It was a good match with both golfers playing well however Chris Managed to pull through with a comfortable victory of 3 shots.

Today i played in an order of merit, Against Connor Brochurst. It was a good match in horendous conditions with thunder at one point!, however i pulled through for a 5 in 4 victory! after a steady par down 14. Yesterday I had a lesson with Dennis Pugh which was enlightening, with new swing keys to think about. Which helped me pull through todays round. All in all a good day. 🙂
